For our native plant and seed fans: The first of our Winter sown seedlings got potted up today! Gray Dogwood, Cornus racemosa.

It's a little early to pot these up with only one seedling having two true leaves, but the container took a tumble and I was concerned about how the soil around the seedlings had landed. Three seedlings for sure and one sprout too small to identify, plus something I found below the soil surface that looks like a germinated seed 🤞. So exciting!

Maybe in another 5 10 years I'll be able to harvest seeds from these plants! 😜 In the meantime, I believe I have some other sources nearby to harvest. Stay tuned this Fall!

Introducing Honduras! I found this bean while scouring suppliers for more fruity beans. This Honduras was processed as a Natural and has notes of Red berry, cherry, fruity, floral, ripe strawberry, with heavy body. Roasted at medium. We have a very limited supply - get it while you can!

Whoah! Sorry! Memorial Day Weekend has snuck up on me! We will be closed from Fri May 22 thru Mon May 25 for our annual Hermit Camping Trip! As a result, we will miss our window to roast & make deliveries in the Greater Medford, MA area next week. Order drops for pickup at Colleen's will happen this week, but not next week - order cut-off as usual is noon tomorrow (Tuesday). After Wed May 20, the next available pickup at Colleen's will be June 3rd. We will be shipping today, tomorrow and Thursday this week. Next week we will ship Tues-Fri. Due to a Can't-Miss family event this weekend, our cut-off for shipments and pick-up orders for Apr 13 thru Apr 16 is noon tomorrow, Sat. Apr 11.

We will drop off orders at Colleen's on Tues. Apr 14.
Shipped orders received between now and noon tomorrow (Sat) will be shipped on Monday, Apr 13. The next shipping day will be Friday, Apr 17.

Colombia is back! This bean hails from the rural area outside of Medellin in Antioquia region. We've roasted it at a true medium roast and it has floral and citrus acidity, notes of chocolate and almond. Really tasty!
