brighten your days with knitting My explorations with yarn started in 2014, when I took a beginner knitting class at my local yarn shop.

Since then, countless hours of fraught, excited handwork and mistakes have softened into relaxing times and nice things. It's a joy to offer the things I love to make and to help others with their own knitting. When I'm not knitting, I'm probably spending time with my daughter, my husband, and my dog. Or maybe I'm keeping my hands busy with crochet or bead weaving.

What do you think about flexible pricing?

I'm excited to offer knitting classes coming up in January for beginners who happen to live in the Twin Cities. I'm experimenting with a flexible pricing model because I don't want to turn anybody away who is excited to learn to knit but might find the cost to be out of their reach. I would love to hear your thoughts about how I've structured this so far. And any experiences you might have had with a flexible pricing model, either on the buying or selling side.

Making up some mittens for my daughter's Christmas present. She chose the colors of Chunky, and I'm working up the pattern from scratch. Stripes are so fun.

Just finished working up a nice squishy sample scarf in for the You Can Knit a Scarf classes I'll be teaching in January. About to give it a wash - always exciting to see how blocking will change the fabric.
