Like many we are saddened by the passing of Avery the Poke Kid and wish the parents of Avery as much peace as possible. No parent should EVER have to bury their child. We cannot fathom a fraction of the pain this has caused their world.
What we won't do is help people profit off a child's passing. Until further notice we will not accept ANY trade-ins of this Jirachi from 30th that Avery pulled in their final pack.
The gross-ness of posers in the Pokémon scene and the robbery at the old store had already caused us to roll back support for the game and our efforts with Pokémon cards in the store, and things like this solidify why we made that initial choice. We don't want to participate in this card.
We hope many true collectors cherish this card in their binders and fans of Avery get to enjoy it for an extra special reason. Go rip packs in honor of an awesome kiddo and fill your master sets. 🌠
