Not long ago, I was trusted with a set of shirts belonging to a client’s father who had recently passed. Not long after I received the shirts, I unexpectedly lost my own father.

This project became a space where I could process my own loss while honoring the memory of his.

I know it took longer than anticipated, and I am so deeply grateful for the patience shown to me during a time that was unimaginably difficult for both of us.

I poured every ounce of my heart into these pieces, knowing exactly what they represented. It was an honor to be trusted with these memories.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your healing process and for being a small part of mine.

We just want to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported Sony Stitches & Co. today. Whether you shopped with us, stopped by to say hello, shared kind words, or simply took a look around our booth, we truly appreciate every single one of you.

It always means so much getting to meet new people while also seeing familiar faces and repeat customers come back to support our small business again and again. Days like today remind us why we love doing this so much.

We had such a great time and genuinely hope y’all enjoyed the day as much as we did. Thank you for supporting handmade, supporting small businesses, and supporting our family. ❤️

☀️ A Fair 2026 ☀️

Come see us this weekend. We’ll be set up on the south side of the square, just off Losher St.

It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day, so don’t forget your sunscreen! We can’t wait to see everyone and share all the handmade goodies we’ve been working on.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to apologize for being a little MIA lately. The past month has been a rough one for our family. My dad passed away on April 23, and the following week I was finishing up finals for my Associate’s Degree, followed by graduation. It’s been a very hectic, emotional roller coaster balancing grief, school, family, and life.

Even through all of that, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes getting ready for our first event of the year, and we are SO excited to finally be back out!

Sony Stitches & Co. will be at A fair in Hernando, Mississippi on May 16, and this year we’ll be set up right on the Square! We’ve been busy preparing lots of goodies and can’t wait to see everyone.

If you’re local, we’d love for you to come out, shop small, and support your local businesses and makers. Thank you all so much for your patience, love, and support during this season of life. ❤️
