This Tac14 came in all rusted, and what little blue was left was thin.

We blasted off the rust and the old bluing, then gave her a parkerizing bath.

Now, she shoots a sub-4" pattern with 9-pellet 00 and sub-5" with the 8-pellet load. She goes to her forever home tomorrow.

This little 870 had to get her barrel refinished. Now look and see that pattern...

Joe's Sears 200/Winchester 1200 made its second stop at our shop. The 1st trip (May 3, 2025) got the barrel cut, beaded, and polished. This time, the stock got shortened to 12.5" LOP, refinished with our grippy texture, and fitted with our butt plate.

Andy brought us this Rem TAC14. It looked like it had been left outside. "Rusted up," were Andy's words, and they fit. Here it is, newly parkerized. The dog spring follower inside the plastic trigger group had seized up completely. That took a little Will wizardry, but it should work now.

Now for a stock, some engraving, and the proper forms to the ATF.

The Maverick 88 is an underrated option for a defensive shotgun.

This pawn-shop pick up had about 14" lopped off the barrel and nearly 2" off the stock. Like most SBT shotguns these days, she wears a big brass bead and our new tactical butt plate.

The barrel is about 15.75", and the LoP is 12.5". Interestingly, everything on this gun is a factory part other than the bead and the butt plate.

This terribly ugly short-barreled shotgun now dons a 12.5" barreled and a 12.5" LOP. This 12.5" combo is wicked... The big brass bead is fast to pick up, and our tactical butt plate is slick to the shoulder.

Soon, she'll get refinished in a nice hot parkerizing bath. Patterning to follow.
