Jay's Drum Service is all about serving the needs of the modern working drummer. We can build you custom snare drums that can either be stained, painted or wrapped. We can either build from scratch or take an existing snare / tom and make something you desire. We offer restorations for vintage and modern drums. Anything from replacement of lugs, to the filling of holes and re-wrapping. Looking to

rent a kit for a night? We got that covered as well. With a full array of 15+ kits and 34 snare drums, we can find the right sound for the event. Whatever your needs, we'll take care of it at Jay's.

The Slingerland project is moving along nicely. Got the wrap removed from the toms. Holes plugged and filling any little or big wood gaps. Appears the shells were stained at one point. The interiors will get a fresh coating of chocolate milk paint, thinking of going with a nice semi-gloss black finish for the exterior.

The newest Slingerland project. Need to unwrap, plug extra holes and get them back to beautiful.

18" Sabian XS crash. This sucker cracker in a very odd way. Been sitting in the pile for years as I was never sure if i wanted to make anything with it, or if I even could. Managed to crate this little guy. Works / sounds better as a time keeper than a crasher. This may be a mini ride in the kit.
