Hi! I’m Kaitlin (Kait if you’re feeling lazy). I’m a lover of Jesus, mom of 2, veteran, and the founder of Phoenix Rising. Phoenix Rising was born from three primary principles: we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves; sustainable living is critical and easier than we think; and quality is more important than quantity in consumption of mostly everything except maybe water…and potato chips.
We believe a simple wardrobe, in both quantity and style, is best for our kiddos, our earth, and our sanity. Our collection is high quality and highly curated. That “Daddy’s Little Princess” hot pink onesie with an embroidered crown on the chest is not our jam, as true as the sentiment may be.
At Phoenix Rising we buy your gently used, classic and on-trend children’s clothing in sizes newborn to 12. We do the legwork for you, conducting porch pick-ups in most areas of Moore County (drop-offs available for those outside service radius!). As you hide from your children in your newfound closet space (oh, only me?), we process your items and provide you monetary and charitable options for reimbursement. Items that aren’t the right fit for our brand will be donated to Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care.
Every child deserves to be clothed with dignity. It’s our great privilege to donate curated bundles of well-styled outfits to local families in need. Additionally, a percentage of our quarterly profits will benefit a carefully selected charity dear to our community at large.
We can’t take a U-haul to Heaven. So why not bless someone else with our “mess”? Let’s rise together.
