And the "method" is almost laughably simple, once you set it up, nature does virtually all the work while you sit back and wait. There are a couple of things worth knowing though, like which leaves make the very best mold (and which stubborn ones take forever unless you do one quick thing to them first), plus a simple setup that keeps the whole pile from turning into a slimy mess.
