"It's alive!"

Reanimate your LEGO collection with this week's Minifig of the Week: Monster Butler. Hailing exclusively from the largest Monster Fighter's set in the wave #10228 'Haunted House' from 2012. You can't find his exact headgear, head, or torso in any other set as they're exclusive to him. LEGO has made multiple iterations of Frankenstein's Monster, however, this is the only time they've made a classic black and white version. If you're someone who loves all things horror or are just looking to complete your Monster Fighter's collection this one's for you.

"Republic credits? Republic credits are no good out here. I need something more real."

Here we have the very first Watto minifig hailing from the 2001 set #7186 "Watto's Junkyard" for Minifig of the Week. This set includes two exclusive minifigs being the highly coveted Watto and the infamous Aldar Beedo that is one molded piece. This minifig is medium blue which differs from the modern sand blue Watto. The main draw to this minifig is the combined molded head, torso, and wings that makes up the majority of it. Although lacking detail on the printing side, he makes up for it in the molding with visible pockets and a screwdriver that clips and hands can hold onto.

It's a large Star Wars used set kind of week!

Newly arrived into the store are the following three sets, all complete builds with all the minifigs, but no box or instructions;

Up first, that's no moon, but it is set 10188, 'Death Star - UCS' from 2008. All 24 minifigures are right there!

Next is the biggest Razor Crest, set 75331 from 2022, 'The Razor Crest - UCS'.

And finally a large gunship, 'Republic Gunship - UCS' set 75309 from 2021. (The plaque is attached to the side of the build, it is there!)

Great collector sets, especially if you have the space for them!

It's time for Minifig of the Week once again, here we have Luminara Unduli, not just any, but the very first version which happens to have a light-up saber. She was released exclusively in 2005 in #7260 'Wookiee Catamaran' alongside the fabled classic 442nd trooper. She didn't have the same fate as the Mace Windu from the time who came as a light-up and nonlight-up version, so this is the only way to get classic Luminara for all our collectors and completionists. It's a shame the light-up minifigs were discontinued so quickly as they are an interesting gimmick, aside for replacing the battery. LEGO only got around to making five of these: Anakin, Obi-wan, Darth Vader, Mace Windu, and of course Luminara.

It's time for this year's 'Bulk Up For Summer!' event!

Simply buy our special bulk summer bucket and fill the first time for $30, then every week you can refill for only $15 all the way through the summer.

It's a perfect way to build up your bulk collections and work on those special projects over the summer months, from now until the end of September.

Our next Bulk Smash is fast approaching. Sunday 19th July from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

If you are a Lego enthusiast, but have never attended one of our Bulk Smash events, you are missing out!

Bulk Smash happens once every few months and is a big deal for a few reasons:

-You get to shop after regular store hours
-You get access to never-before-shopped Lego pieces
-You get access to pieces that don't make it into the bulk tables during normal hours, such as plant pieces and animal pieces
-We provide snacks and beverages for you (you'll need your energy!)
-You get $50 worth of bulk for only $35
-You can purchase as much additional exclusive bulk Lego as you'd like

A few things to remember:
-Bulk Smash is limited to 40 participants
-Children are welcome but, everyone who comes through the door must purchase a bucket. If you plan on bringing them you will have to purchase a bucket for them.

"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light"

Two weeks ago we had poison ivy, now we have the notorious Joker. This is the first Joker minifigure that LEGO made, hailing from the 2006-2008 LEGO Batman I line. This minifig appeared in 4 sets, half of them Comic Con exclusive while the other two: #7782 'The Batwing: The Joker's Aerial Assault' and #7888 'The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise' were released in store.
His hair, head, and torso are all exclusive to this minifig while he just sports purple legs. Fun fact: this minifig is actually a different color than his appearance in the LEGO Batman 1 video game. In the game, joker is actually wearing original purple (known as just purple) while his minifig is wearing dark purple. We rarely see LEGO Batman I or hold onto it for long at that: the bat signal is lit, you just have to answer it.
