Hello friends 🍃
Let me tell you about my friend Phil. When I started Coastal Blue here at the village several years ago.. Phil was here every day doing work on the village and in the garden. Each day he would come in and sit on the bench and we became great buddies talking about the Lord and life. If you go back to around February 14th on the Faithful Cottage FB page, you will see Phil and his wife and the pastor of our church, Pastor James, blessing the Bibles and crosses in the cottage.
Phil came by to see the Southport Smokehouse today because they had a fire at the restaurant last night. He came to Faithful Cottage, met some customers and shared stories and reminisced about when he started the Smokehouse bbq almost 35 years ago. Phil is a man of faith, was a builder of dreams and carries a prayerful heart with him. His sweetheart and lovely wife Elaine needs healing prayers. We attend the same church and he shared they are caring for them and such a blessing.
We talked about creating a newer and updated video of his recollections and memories of when he built the village. He has so many stories and memories that need to be shared. I came back to the village to open The Faithful Cottage because I love what he built here. I love the history behind it and the charm. While the village has changed over the years, his story has not.
Stay tuned, friends. 🙏🍃🩷
