We are very excited to announce that Chelsea Riches has joined us as a Steinway and Sons educational partner! Chelsea is a pianist and has been a professional music educator with more than 16 years of teaching experience. She holds a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Mississippi and is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Chelsea is the founder and director of Riches Music Studio in D’Iberville, Mississippi, where she has developed one of the Gulf Coast’s largest piano programs. Through an innovative comprehensive group piano curriculum, she equips students with strong technical skills, artistic expression, music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and collaborative musicianship. Her students regularly perform in recitals, festivals, competitions, and adjudicated events, consistently demonstrating a high standard of musical excellence.

In addition to her work as an educator, Chelsea is a professional multi-instrumentalist specializing in piano, flute, and organ. She performs as a flutist with the Biloxi Civic Orchestra and serves on its Board of Directors. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians and is dedicated to redefining music education through engaging, high-quality instruction that fosters both musical achievement and a lifelong love of music.

Congratulations Sara! Sara Silva Caraveo is a 3rd grade piano student in Dr. Dianne’s studio. She also attends Stonebridge Elementary in Spanish Fort. In addition to music, she enjoys her visual arts class. Since beginning her piano studies last Fall, Sara has shown positive energy and excellent achievement. Sara has attended her lessons without any absences and her parents support her piano studies enthusiastically. Based on her hard work, consistent, practice and attendance,as well as her desire to learn, Sara is July’s Student of the Month in Dr. Dianne’s studio. Brava!🎶

We would like to highlight Jennifer Suit, a dedicated piano instructor at The Studio in Daphne. Originally from the Midwest, I relocated to lower Alabama six and a half years ago. Throughout my life, music has been a constant and guiding force, shaping me into the person I am today. The rigorous study of the piano, in particular, instilled in me a deep sense of discipline that has translated into all areas of my life - even helping me secure my dream job with the Army Corps of Engineers.

Because of my profound love for music, I make it a priority to play piano at every possible opportunity. Beyond my own practice, I am dedicated to teaching, striving to share my passion amends appreciation for music with the younger generations.

My ultimate piece of advice to all my students is simple but powerful: "Don't quit, keep going. It will pay off in the end and you will not be sorry that you stuck with it. "
