What a beautiful, summery first week of June! I seem to be inthe middle of several different projects, but I did get a few new ones ready for the shop this weekend - who knows? Maybe more by Sunday! I also have new art from Susan Alejandro - everyone's favorite, a hummingbird!
Opens both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, 10 - 3. Heads up for next weekend - the Shop will be closed on Saturday June 13th, but I WILL be open on Sunday the 14th.

After the rain stopped today I was able to put some finishing touches on the new gazebo at the shop. It was a great opportunity to use more of the reclaimed fence boards as well as some wood shutters that I had fun painting, now utilized as a back display wall. Stop by and check it out! Open Sunday 10-3.

If you have any room left in your vegetable garden. I have a few tomato plants for sale ($3.) There are 2 Heirloom varieties, Cherokee Purple and Alice's Dream, as well as 1 Yellow Pear and 1 Sweet Appertif, a clustered cherry tomato variety.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend - the official kick-off to Summer! This patriotic wreath makes a perfect decoration that will last all summer. There are several other wreaths, plus LOTS more. The shop will be open both Saturday and Sunday, from 10-3.

Also check out the Chesterfield Farmer's Market on Saturday from 9 - 12, and the Spofford Fire Department Pancake Breakfast on Sunday! Have a safe Holiday Weekend, and I hope you'll find a few minutes to stop by Route 9 Finds & Designs!

Stop by the Route 9 Finds & Designs shop Saturday, May 16th to visit Samantha. She will be your guest shopkeeper for the day while I attend a conference out of town. Happy May Day! I remember going into the woods to pick Mayflowers, making little baskets or decorated paper cones with the flowers in them, then hanging them on a neigbor's door k**b, knocking, and running off. Did anyone else have a May Day tradition?
The shop will be open both Saturday and Sunday, 10 - 3, and while I don't have actual mayflowers, I DO have some new items showcasing spring flowers. There are four new wreaths from Samantha Winchester-Floral Designer, and some adorable bunnies from Susan Alejandro with dried flowers from her own gardens and yard. And you'll find flowers featuredd all over the shop.
