As our community moves from immediate response into recovery, we know that the needs don’t end when the smoke clears.
The Scale House Market currently has up to $50 per household available for up to 400 individuals and families materially affected by the Spokane Complex fires to use toward purchases at the Market. As additional community resources become available, we hope to grow that amount.
These funds come from a shared pool of resources made possible through partnership with Innovia Foundation and ReImagine Medical Lake, and strengthened by the generosity of our community.
If your household has been materially impacted by the fires, please come see us at the Market. To access the funds, we’ll simply ask for basic contact information and the address of the property affected by the fires so that we can responsibly track and steward the resources available.
And support here goes beyond groceries.
Laptops are available onsite for those who need access to a computer to work through insurance claims, complete forms, connect with resources, or manage the many administrative pieces that come with recovery.
Our space is here for you, too. Come sit for a while. Have a cup of coffee. Charge your phone. Get some work done. Shop for food. Meet a friend. Or simply spend a little time somewhere outside of the immediate stress of recovery.
There is no purchase required to come use the space or our available laptops.
This is what community is for.
As more resources become available, we’ll continue looking for ways to put them directly into the hands of the people who need them. And to everyone who has donated, partnered, volunteered, shopped, shared resources, or otherwise stepped up: you are helping make this possible.
