In just a few weeks, the gates open. The streets fill. The music starts. Knights take the field, merchants open their shops, performers take the stages, and thousands of people pour into the Spokane Renaissance Faire.

But there’s another side of Faire most people never get to experience.

The side behind the gates.

Our volunteers are right in the middle of it all, welcoming guests, supporting performers, keeping things moving, solving problems, and experiencing Faire from a completely different perspective.

And you don’t have to give up your Faire weekend to volunteer. Every four hours you volunteer earns you a complimentary ticket, so you can help create Faire and come back to enjoy it, too.

October will be here before we know it. When thousands of people walk through those gates, you can be one of them.

Getting Ready for Faire: Want the Fastest Way Through the Gate?

Buy your ticket before you get here. Seriously.

This year, guests with pre-purchased tickets will have 6 scanning windows at the South Gate and 5 at the Main Entrance ready to keep the lines moving and get you into Faire faster.

Buying when you arrive? There will be just ONE cash/card purchase window at each entrance.

And here's the important part: have your ticket QR code pulled up on your phone BEFORE you arrive at the grounds. Last year, thousands of people in one place put a lot of strain on the nearby cell network. The faster everyone has their QR codes ready to scan, the faster those lines can move.

Buy ahead. Have your QR code ready. Get through the gate faster.

Because you didn't wait all year for Faire just to spend your morning in the ticket line.
