Throughout my short sixteen years of life so far, I have become increasingly aware of and disturbed by the lack of sensible policies regarding the climate crisis. Nagging away at me was the sense of responsibility to do something, to open people’s eyes, to change the systems in which we were born into and trained to conform to, especially the linear economy model that produces waste and continuously devours virgin resources. Earth supplies us with limited materials. Currently, we are using products once and then throwing them away to be placed in a landfill or dumped out to sea. But it doesn't have to be this way. By choosing high-quality products that last longer and can ultimately be recycled, composted, or biodegraded, you can drive the transition to a circular economy. Earth needs a revolution, and sustainable products is just one of many facets that we the people must choose.
