Twenty-five years later, we still remember September 11, 2001. We remember the lives that were lost and the people who stepped forward to help their neighbors in a moment of great uncertainty.

That day changed our nation, but it also reminded us of the importance of coming together and caring for one another. As we remember those we lost, may we continue to choose compassion, serve those around us, and hold onto hope.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Every month, our shelters and services have specific needs that help us care for men, women, and children in our community. We’re grateful for the generosity of our community, which helps us meet immediate needs and support individuals as they work toward a new life. If you’d like to help, consider donating an item from our August needs list!

Please drop off shelter-specific donations directly at the shelter or location, where that need was requested, so we can make sure your donation gets to the people who need it most. (Drop off days are Monday through Friday)

If you or someone you know has been affected by the Spokane Fire Complex, please pass this information along!

Have you or someone you know been directly affected by the Spokane fires? UGM is offering FREE lunches to those who have been displaced by these fires, as well as our brave first responders.

Spokane Fire Relief Lunch:
- When: Mon-Fri between 1pm-2pm daily
- Where: Union Gospel Mission Trent Men's Shelter
- Location: 1224 E. Trent Ave, Spokane, WA 99202
- Entrance: Please enter through the main shelter door located on the west side of the mission (closest to the river). Please check in at the RA desk and let the staff know you are here for the fire relief lunch
- Parking: Parking is located on both the East and West sides of the mission
- Duration: UGM plans to offer this free meal to our community until further notice (many roads and neighborhoods are estimated to be closed for approx. 2 weeks)
