Not to be outdone…

Snow!! It is currently snowing up at Crystal Mountain! Highway 410 is clear, but it is great to see the higher slopes getting some snow! This is the top of Chair 6 at 7,002 feet. 9:15AM 09-13-26 -Benjamin J

Well this is fun… 🤩

9/13/26 - Okay, now we're paying attention.

What started as flakes above 6000 feet a week and a half ago turned into a proper overnight snowfall on the upper mountain. The webcams this morning look like something out of December, not mid-September.

Expect this to soften up and recede as seasonable temps return later in the week. Fall on The Ridge still has larches, live music, and a lot of good days left in it. But winter is clearly thinking about us.
