It is with a heavy heart that we announce Anni’s passing. We would like to use this space to remind all of you about some of our favorite parts of an incredible woman, mother, wife, and devoted friend. Anni has a long list of beautiful accomplishments such as founding the Ryan House Studio of Stained Glass, serving as President of the Spokane Art School, repairing orphanages in Romania, opening and running her own vintage store, and so much more.
Alongside these many achievements, she was most known for being truly unique and a fiercely loyal, loving friend who consistently put others before herself. She genuinely enjoyed all those she met, and they felt the same about her. That was her gift. She conveyed a love of life that was contagious. Her warm personality, broad smile and infectious laugh could be last be seen at her Vintage store or at Coeur d’Alene Lake, which was her lifelong haven. But what mattered to her most was her love for Jesus and her family. They were able to lovingly send her on her way at the end.
We would also like to extend the invitation to honor Anni among family and friends this week. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 11, at 12:00pm, at Sacred Heart Parish, 219 E. Rockwood Blvd., Spokane, WA 99202, followed later by an Anni-style Celebration of Life at Chateau Rive (lower level of Flour Mill), from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The Celebration of Life will be a casual event, where we encourage you to celebrate her love of vintage and western clothing. Hawaiian and Western shirts from her vintage store will be provided at the venue for anyone in need of color.
