When someone has millions of people watching, getting their version of the story out first can have a huge impact. Sometimes it’s not just about telling your side. It can also shape the narrative before the other person even gets the opportunity to speak.

That’s what makes this situation so uncomfortable to watch.

Sako reportedly left West Virginia for Ohio, seemingly trying to get away from everything and find some peace. Meanwhile, Dalton has continued speaking publicly, getting emotional on camera and sharing his perspective with a massive audience. Sako stayed quiet until recently, when she said she would eventually speak for herself.

Silence is not proof of guilt. And being the more vocal person does not automatically make your version the truth.

We’ve seen plenty of situations where someone with a much smaller platform gets completely buried once a story takes off. Millions of followers can mean millions of people forming an opinion before all the facts are even on the table.

That power difference matters.

And now Dalton is publicly talking about finding someone to “fill that spot” while all of this is still unfolding. Maybe there’s more to that than we know, but the timing definitely raises questions.

Uh oh… Gypsy Rose is back in the hot seat, and this time it’s because people are digging up things she said while she was still in prison.

With old prison phone calls and conversations now resurfacing, some of the things Gypsy said back then are being looked at VERY differently today. And considering how much her story and public image have changed since her release, people are questioning what she really believed behind the scenes.

And honestly… some of these old statements are hard to ignore when you hear them now.

I really think this is one of those conversations we are going to look back on differently.

Because we cannot say we care about children while deciding that the mental health of the mothers who raise them is irrelevant.

We should care about what a woman is experiencing after giving birth. We should care when postpartum depression turns into crippling anxiety. We should care when intrusive thoughts become terrifying. We should care when a mother is telling someone she is struggling, when she is losing touch with reality, when medications are being changed, increased, stopped, or prescribed without the support and monitoring she desperately needs.

And we should care about how badly maternal mental healthcare is failing women.

None of that erases what happened to Lindsay Clancy’s children.

Those babies were innocent. What happened to them was horrific, devastating and impossible to comprehend. People are allowed to feel anger over that. They should.

But recognizing the severity of what she did does not require us to pretend the circumstances leading up to it never existed.

Two things can be true at the same time.

A mother can be responsible for an unimaginable act, and we can still examine whether she was experiencing catastrophic postpartum mental illness and whether there were warning signs that should have triggered intervention long before three children were dead.

Saying, “I don’t care about her postpartum depression” doesn’t make us more compassionate toward those children. It doesn’t prevent the next tragedy. It doesn’t fix anything.

If we truly want to protect children, then we have to start caring about what happens to mothers before they reach the point of no return.

Because by the time we’re standing in the aftermath, it’s already too late.

We shouldn’t wait for another family to be destroyed before deciding maternal mental health matters.

And now we’re supposed to believe that her psychiatrist told her to SAY she was hearing voices? If she was pressured or coerced into agreeing with a story, how can that confession be considered reliable at all?

At this point, her entire “confession” needs to be seriously questioned, and Patrick needs to be investigated too. Because there are way too many questions here to just brush this off.

A Daytona Beach, Florida father beat an 18-year-old man unconscious after walking in on him ab*sing his 11-year-old son inside the boy’s bedroom, and police confirmed the father would face no criminal charges over the beating.

The father called 911 around 1 a.m. after discovering Raymond Frolander, a family friend who had babysat the boy before, in the act. When officers arrived, they found Frolander motionless on the living room floor with knots on his face and blood coming from his mouth. “He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you,” the father told the 911 dispatcher. “I drug him out to the living room.” Asked whether any weapons were involved, the father said only “my foot and my fist.”

Investigators later learned from the child that the ab*se had been going on for years, with the boy telling child protective investigators that Frolander had been m*lesting him since he was 8 years old. Frolander was arrested and charged with s*xual battery on a child under 12, and according to the arrest affidavit, he admitted to the ab*se. He was held without bail.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood publicly backed the father’s response. “Dad was acting like a dad. I don’t see anything we should charge the dad with,” Chitwood said, adding, “You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had s*x with the victim multiple times.”

No charges were ever filed against the father. Frolander was later sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading no contest to lewd and lascivious m*lestation of a child, closing out a case that drew national attention over both the severity of the ab*se and the police department’s decision not to pursue the father who stopped it.
