✨ WHAT’S THAT WEDNESDAY ✨
Every now and then a piece of jewelry comes along that makes people stop mid-sentence, lean in closer, and ask…
“What. Is. That!?”
Each Wednesday I’ll be sharing one extraordinary piece from another age and the story behind it. Some are rare, some are mysterious, and all of them are unforgettable.
This week’s jewel is a perfect example. What catches your eye first?

Medusa in Tigers Eye. 👁️ I can never resist pieces that are super cool or unusual. This antique ring checked all my boxes! 📦 she’s so beautifully carved you almost feel as though perhaps she herself was turned to stone!

Antique jewelry makes beautiful Mother’s Day gifts because it already understands permanence.

These pieces have survived a century of birthdays, love stories, journeys, celebrations, and ordinary days. And somehow they are still here, waiting to become part of someone else’s story.

A locket she wears every day.
A ring her daughter remembers on her hand years later.

A small beautiful thing that quietly becomes part of a family.

We are still shipping in time for Mother’s Day, through Thursday. Next day available.

The thrill of the
Kentucky Derby never really fades-the flash of silk, the surge of the crowd, that suspended moment where anything feels possible.

This medal carries that same energy forward.
A 1923 Hackney Horse
Society medal by Mappin & Webb, beautifully struck in sterling silver,
capturing a horse mid-stride with quiet authority and strength.
Originally presented in Bridlington, and still housed in its fitted box, it feels less like an object and more like a memory of motion... of pride... of a perfect run.

To Golden Tempo-congratulations.
And for those of us who simply love the horse... this is a piece that keeps the spirit close.

Available now.

It’s been a long, long time since I’ve had an 18 karat gold vintage watch chain. This one is scrumptious. She plays nicely with mine, but she is not for me. What do you think? Should we auction her off? Watch this space.. I’ll tell you her backstory in the coming days! For now, I’ll just say that she’s 58 grams of rich, heavy goodness in need of a home.
