Itās been a while since Iāve done one of theseā¦ so hereās a little backstory and a bit about us š¤
Iām Heidi ā founder and designer behind Flamingo Rodeo. I grew up in Louisiana, spent time in NYC and California, and eventually landed in Texas where this all came to life. Weāre just about 4 years in from when the idea for Flamingo Rodeo was born, and what started as a creative outlet has grown into something Iām incredibly proud of.
Retail is still the heart of what we do. The shop is where everything started and will always be a huge part of our story ā a thoughtful, curated mix of pieces you wonāt find just anywhere.
Over time, that naturally grew into design work ā helping clients pull their homes together in a way that feels approachable, lived-in, and true to their style. From small updates to full-service projects, itās become a part of the business that gives me the most fulfillment.
We also love working with other designers ā getting to be a small part of their projects and seeing our pieces styled in ways we never would have thought of. Itās so freaking cool and many have become dear friends!
And latelyā¦ the candle bar has become the new heartbeat of our space. Itās creative, hands-on, and has brought such a fun energy into the shop.
Things have evolved a lot over the years, but the goal has always stayed the same ā to create something that feels personal, welcoming, and keeps people coming back.
