For a special boy who sent his owner another special boy when he passed. He knew she needed another just like him. His name was Bob and he sent BonBon. Somehow these horses know when we have large holes in our hearts to fill. I think that is why they are so big sometimes.

Alrighty y'all, I am tired. I am starting wear thin and it is showing. We have had a lot happen over the past month and I am so far behind. I do apologize about it, but everything is being made.

I am hoping to get the wait-list open again mid November. This means calling the names on the list about 3 days before. But that is me really hoping. So until then, enjoy the wreaths, cutouts and other items I manage to get made this week.

So when is the kaleidoscope pattern best used?
Typically when I have fewer of some colors and more of others, but not enough to make a pattern that flows. I find myself doing this when there are a large variety of colors too. It makesit easier to rein in chaos (get it, rein in 😅).

You may have more ribbons than you think. What does that mean?

Well, I base my counting off of a rosette with 3 tails that are ~9 inches long. Some of these ribbons have 18-24 inch long tails! That's a lot more to work with!

So make sure you are measuring and seeing how many extra you may have. Your one ribbon may actually be 2!

Medallion ornaments are a nice way to use up those rosettes. You get to see the pretty buttons on them and remember the show.

The season of ornaments is upon us! I tend to do lots of ornaments closer to the holidays. They make great barn gifts for your friends or trainer. I can do several different options, but they all must be riderless. I may have a few for sale in the next couple of weeks in preparation for the holidays.
