Sunday project: the three-ingredient wing sauce that beats anything you'd buy in a bottle. 🌢️

Melt half a stick of butter. Stir in a good pour of Evil Ooze β€” fire-roasted red habanero and jalapeΓ±o, 7 out of 10 heat. Squeeze in half a lime. Done.

Toss it on wings straight out of the oven, or brush it on chicken thighs the last two minutes on the grill. It clings, it caramelizes a little, and it doesn't taste like vinegar and regret.

$9.99, free shipping over $49.

Now tell us where we're wrong β€” butter in a wing sauce: essential, or a cop-out?

Saturday rule around here: the grill gets hot before the phone gets checked. πŸ”₯

Here's the move most folks miss β€” set the sauces out before the food comes off. People graze, they compare, they argue a little. That's half of what a cookout is for.

The Texas Cookout 6-Pack ($59.99) hands you all six, mild to wild, so there's a bottle for the cousin who "doesn't do spicy" and one for the guy who swears he does.

Settle a cookout argument for us: does hot sauce belong on brisket, or is that a crime in Texas?

Weekend plan: something on the grill, Hatchanero within arm's reach. 🌢️

Roasted Hatch chile and habanero β€” smoky, a little sweet, and it actually brings heat. It's the bottle that ruins you for regular green sauce. Brisket tacos, eggs Saturday morning, straight onto a burger.

Hatch season is short. 20% off runs through September 13.

So what's going on the grill at your place this weekend? Best answer gets featured next week.

Roll call, chiliheads. 🌢️

We want it straight from y'all β€” which Hot Line bottle actually lives on your counter, and which one's hiding in the back of the fridge?

Tell us the sauce and what you put it on. Best answers get featured in a post next week, and bonus points if it's a pairing nobody would guess.

Whole lineup's at HotLinePepper.com β€” free shipping over $49.

So which bottle earned counter space at your house, and what won it over?

Pepper lesson: sugar doesn't cancel heat. It hides it. 🍍

Capsaicin is what burns you, and it isn't water-soluble β€” sweetness just gives your tongue something else to think about for about four seconds. Then the habanero shows up anyway.

That's the whole trick behind Pineapple Paradise. Bright tropical sweetness on the front end, real habanero on the back end. It's the bottle that talks people into hot sauce who swore they didn't like hot sauce. $9.99.

Free shipping over $49 at HotLinePepper.com.

Now settle it: does sweet make heat easier to handle, or does it just let the burn ambush you later?

Hatch season's on, so I'll ask the question that starts fights in here: does Hatch chile actually belong in a hot sauce, or is it a mild-salsa pepper people won't admit is mild? 🌢️

We roast ours and blend it with habanero β€” Hatchanero β€” specifically because straight Hatch never got there on heat for us. Smoky and a little sweet on the front, real burn on the back.

Hatch only comes out of the ground a few weeks a year, so we run it 20% off while the season's up β€” through September 13, code HATCHTASTIC at HotLinePepper.com.

But settle the argument first: Hatch on its own β€” enough heat, or does it need help?

08/20/2026

Hatch season doesn't wait around. 🌢️

Hatch chiles come out of the ground for a few weeks a year, and then they're gone until next summer. That's the whole reason Hatchanero exists β€” roasted Hatch chile and habanero, smoky and a little sweet, and it actually brings heat. Most Hatch sauces play it safe. This one doesn't.

It's 20% off through September 13. The 2-Pack is the one to grab if you go through it as fast as we do.

So settle something for us: Hatch chile on a burger, or is that sacrilege?
