As many of you have known, Stephanie and I (Mike) have been looking to retire from PetFlyTrap.com for several years. While we have immensely enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you and helping many of the budding botanists in this community come to fruition, we also came to realize in recent years that we were ready to have more time for retirement-type things as well. But we also definitely didn't want to let any of our multitude of customers down. Many of our customers have been relying on PetFlyTrap.com exclusively for decades; and this is because of our commitment to treat our customers the way that WE want to be treated...honestly and fairly, more like family than just another customer.
With this in mind, the difficulty has always been trying to find that special new owner who has the same passion for carnivorous plants and people - not just someone who is trying to make a buck (YOUR bucks!). We wanted someone who would continue to carry the banner of quality plants, excellent customer service, super-careful packing and shipping, and all the other benefits you have come to expect from PetFlyTrap.com.
Well folks, that day has finally come!! We are pleased and proud to announce that we have closed the deal for Kiki's Octopus Garden to purchase PetFlyTrap.com! We have known and worked with Kim and the folks at Kiki's for many years, and have come to realize that they share our commitment to plants and people. We truly feel that PetFlyTrap.com can't be in better hands!
So there you go! Expect to see the same great plants and deals, and the same great customer service, website...nothing changes for you, our valued customer!
To celebrate the occasion, we are offering 20% OFF all regularly-priced plants in our Nepenthes category...through Sonday, June 21 only, so help us celebrate and save some money too!
Because of the changeover and as we had previously announced, we are taking a short break to make the transition, so we will not be shipping on Monday, June 29. All orders placed by noon Monday, June 22 will be shipped on the 22nd, and all orders placed after this time will be shipped beginning Monday, July 6.
