Are you part of the “Prismarine” Flash Mob Knit Along?

We posted Nancy’s Blitz Prismarine and the excitement to make one has gone viral! It takes two skeins of fi*****ng yarn - one solid and one with colorful variation. For the colorful yarn, Nancy used a Laine du Nord sock yarn and I am using a Zauberball to knit mine.

More new Zauberballs are coming this week if you want to join in the fun with color combos not already selected!

This beautiful scarf has quickly become a shop favorite. Several of us are now doing this “Prismarine” (pattern by Alina Appasova https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/prismarine).
Nancy knitted this beauty using a ball of Laines du Nord Eclectic Sock, that causes the exciting color changes, and a solid skein of royal blue fi*****ng yarn.

It’s a fun and not too complicated knit. I think I’m going to do two!!

Mary knit this thinking of Virginia Apgar, MD who was an obstetrical anesthesiologist best known for developing the apgar score. Mary used Cascade Pacific Sport color #51.

Lisa has finished a Blitz project - the “Clay Tee” (pattern by Ozetta: Hailey Smedley https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/clay-tee). Lisa knit this using red, white, and blue Cascade Anchor Bay - a soft 50/50 cotton/merino blend.

Joni finished this amazing cat blanket, and matching pillow!
It’s amazing because it gorgeous, but also because of Joni’s creativity!

The main pattern is called “Cute Cat Paw and Tail Blanket” (pattern by Maryna Vershynina, ravelry.com/patterns/library/cute-cat-paw-and-tail-blanket).
Joni modified the design to use 24 large squares instead of small squares.
Joni also incorporated paw squares from another pattern by the same designer (ravelry.com/patterns/library/cat-bag-7).
To add a lovely finishing touch, Joni added a border not part of the pattern (https://daisyfarmcrafts.com/double-crochet-post-ribbing-border/)
Joni crocheted this using Cascade 220 Superwash Merino wool.
