2026 Northwest Arkansas Open presented by J-Ro Excavation!

The Northwest Arkansas Open returns to JB Hunt Park in Springdale, Arkansas, November 7th–8th, 2026, and this year’s event marks an important moment for disc golf in Northwest Arkansas.

Last year, the Northwest Arkansas Open helped support the process of bringing a new disc golf course to the grounds surrounding Rabbit Foot Lodge. This year, we’re excited to see that process come full circle with the Grand Opening of Rabbit Foot DGC as part of the Northwest Arkansas Open.

Rabbit Foot DGC is more than just a new course. It’s another piece of the continued development of JB Hunt Park as a destination for disc golf, and we’re proud to have the Northwest Arkansas Open be part of its opening.

When we took over the Northwest Arkansas Open, the event had previously been an A-Tier, but was held as a B-Tier the year before we took it over. We’re excited to announce that in 2027, the Northwest Arkansas Open will return to A-Tier status and expand beyond JB Hunt Park to showcase other courses throughout Northwest Arkansas.

📢 Rabbit Foot Disc Golf Course Announcement 🐰

🏡 Rabbit Foot Lodge | Springdale, AR

Built in 1908, Rabbit Foot Lodge is one of Arkansas’s notable examples of Adirondack-style architecture. Located on what is now part of J.B. Hunt Park, the historic lodge was once home to J. William Fulbright and his family and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Today, we’re excited to announce that installation begins this week on the 18-hole disc golf course we received approval for last year! 📝

The course will be installed in 4 phases and completed next month, featuring:

⛓️ 18 holes with a single basket
🥾 18 concrete tee pads
🗺️ Course directory & tee signs
🪑 Seating at select shaded tees
⛳️ 18 basket flags
🥏 1 practice basket

Designing this course was a unique challenge. Working alongside the City of Springdale Parks & Recreation and the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust, we designed the course around the land exactly as it exists today—with no major alterations—helping preserve the character and natural landscape of this historic property.

We’re incredibly excited to see this project come to life and are extremely grateful for the opportunity to help bring more disc golf to J.B. Hunt Park. ❤️🥏

Installation starts this week. Four phases. 18 holes. Completion next month.

We can’t wait to share the progress with you!
