My name is Jaime Doering and I am the owner and sole creator of BlockOn! I also have a full-time job in the mortgage industry and am a wife and mother in Central Illinois. My craft began like any many others do- by accident. I have always been that “crafty” person in the family. I grew up making scrapbooks and painting/sketching everything I saw. A family member approached me over a decade ago and

asked me to make her son a military glass block. She saw it on Pinterest and wanted me to replicate it. I wanted to do my own spin on the idea so I went wild and created this unique military block for her and she told me she loved it so much more than the original design she saw. I posted the photo of the block on my page and before I knew it, all of my friends and family wanted me to make glass blocks for them. I began selling at vendor shows and opened my Etsy store so I could sell across the country. I am very proud to say that I have sold to all 50 states! I started with very simple ideas and designs and over the years I have perfected my craft and I always push myself to come out with new ideas. I have worked hard to make my blocks truly unique and the overall result is beautiful. I truly LOVE making them for people and if you purchase one of them, it will truly be one-of-a-kind.

The Halloween corner is officially starting to come to life! 🎃👻

I’ve been painting, creating, and adding new handmade pieces a little at a time, and I’m finally starting to see the vision come together.

Every pumpkin has its own personality. Every ghost is a little different. And there are plenty of spooky oddities, haunted portraits, potions, and more on the way. 🧙‍♀️✨
