🙂 SEPTEMBER BUILD COMPETITION! 🎩
The theme this month is: ALTERNATE HISTORY 🤪
This one is a challenge... What if historical events happened differently? What if Dinosaurs invented electricity?? Have you heard of the "Eiffel Tunnel" in Paris?? What if prairie dogs ruled the US of A?? Show us with LEGO!
Hints:
- The build must be your own design.
- Builds must be family friendly.
- Please make your builds sturdy as they will be moved.
- Have fun!!
Competition rules:
There are three age categories with three winners in each category:
- 7 and under
- 8 to 11
- 12 and up (adults welcome!)
Prizes:
- 1st place: $40 gift card
- 2nd place: $10 gift card
- 3rd place: $10 gift card
Build submissions must be dropped off at Bricks and Minifigs for judging no later than September 30th at 7 PM CST.
Judging: Three judges will review each build carefully to specifically score for:
1. Theme: Creative use of the theme (think outside the box to stand out!)
2. Engineering: Impressive build design and parts usage
3. Story: The story the build tells (your build should tell a story!)
4. WOW factor: Overall aesthetic
Winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram early October.
Participants can pick up their builds anytime after the announcement. We'll show off your creations in the meantime!
