Occasionally you get an opportunity to serve others in such a way that is SUPER rewarding. A number of years ago a fellow teacher asked me to sponsor a student in Guatemala. (Yes, I used to be a school teacher!). Giving to the school became something I looked forward to and was always happy to do so. This year I was asked to support the need for clean water for the students and their families. Clean water equals healthier children equals better education. I made the trip to Antigua and surrounding area to find a very loving, humble, and appreciative community. Pictured are the 50 plus families who received Ecofiltro. This may not seem like a big thing for those of us who take clean drinking water for granted but for these people who spend more than 1/2 their income on buying water this is a tremendous gift.
I am so grateful for this experience! Serving and giving are spiritual principles and I feel honored to have been a part of such a worthwhile chance to practice them! Cymphony’s supports education! Enjoy the pictures and feel free to DM with any questions ♥️
