Hello Friends-- HOLD UP, YOU’RE DUE FOR A LITTLE SELF-CARE!
Yep… SELF-CARE. And before you say, “I don’t have time for that!” — YES, YOU DO.
The Action for Happiness calendar is reminding us this month that taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish… it’s necessary!
Self-care can look like:
*Drinking your coffee while it’s STILL HOT
*Making time to create something just because it makes you happy
*Getting outside and soaking up a little sunshine
*Putting the phone down and giving your brain a break
*Going to bed instead of saying, “I’ll just watch one more…”
*Laughing until your cheeks hurt
And occasionally saying “NOPE!” without feeling guilty!
You don’t need a spa day, a tropical vacation, or a whole day off to practice self-care. Sometimes it’s just 10 minutes of doing something that fills YOUR cup instead of everyone else’s.
So here’s your September challenge:
DO SOMETHING NICE FOR YOURSELF.
Not because you finished everything on your to-do list.
Not because everyone else is taken care of.
Just because YOU matter, too.
And remember… you can’t pour from an empty cup — but you CAN refill it!
This week, make a little room for YOU.

Hello Friends-- What Really Matters…
Another birthday has come and gone, and birthdays have a funny way of making you stop, reflect, and count your blessings.
The older I get, the more I realize that some of the most valuable things in life can’t be bought. They’re found in the people who laugh with us, cheer us on, stand beside us when life gets messy, and somehow make the hard days a little easier.
A true friend is one of life’s greatest gifts.
So today, my words are this: If you’re lucky enough to have a friend like that, don’t wait for a birthday or a special occasion to tell them how much they mean to you. Send the text. Make the call. Give the hug. Tag them below.
And to all of the wonderful friends who have been part of my journey—thank you for making my life brighter, happier, and a whole lot more colorful!
Here’s to growing older, getting wiser, and realizing that the best things in life are often the ones we could never put a price tag on. ✨
