Made this bracelet out of copper wire. I twisted all the wire and then braided it hammered and nailed it hammered some more did a little soldering and pounded a little more. Polished it up to make it shiny.

This is the reason I charge $15 for shipping! This is the price of just the USPS label that I have to buy that is not counting the label itself packing materials my time or any other stuff that goes into it. Shipping is going up across the country. There is nothing I can do about it.

When you see a business charging six dollars for shipping more than likely, they are taking out of their profits to pay for your shipping.

There has been three different increases this year in shipping. And unfortunately it is just going to keep going up.

What I pay for shipping for my materials is anywhere between 30 and $50. I have to pay the shipping whether I like it or not it’s just part of business. So I kindly ask taken to consideration the cost of shipping. I hope I was able to break it down for you a little bit and show you just how much shipping is because I promise I am not profiting off of your shipping everything goes directly to the cost of shipping the package and ensuring quality packaging.

My flex shaft has gone out. It is my main tool that I use on a daily basis for projects so I have ordered another one, but it won’t be here until Friday. So all orders are put on hold. I apologize. I won’t be able to get them done until I get that flex shaft in.

I’m thinking about making some more bracelets similar to this one. This one was for a customer a couple years ago, but she changed her mind so I kept it and it’s one of my favorites.

What are some things that you guys do for your business that keep shipping costs low? Printing a shipping label is costing me nearly $10 just to buy the label that is not printing or any packing material or time? After everything is done, it comes out to be right at $15 and sometimes it’s cutting into my profit because the label cost so much.

What are other businesses doing for shipping?
