Walking through Sorrento yesterday, we encountered who composes original poems on his typewriter on any subject. We requested a poem about a bookstore cat, and he delivered this beautiful poem on the spot! Grazie Mille, Paolo!

Reminder: we will be closed on Wednesday June 3 for construction 🚧 (wall destruction) for our expansion. We’ll be reopen normal hours starting Thursday! 🚨 Bookmarx is going to be closed Tuesday and Wednesday June 2 and 3 for construction for our store expansion. That’s right, we are bringing in the Kool Man to smash through the wall! And if you have rentals to return…I’m declaring you get them an extra week!

Grateful for a community that continues to show up with compassion.
These books will soon be shared with individuals in ICE detention. Thank you to all who donated and to BookMarx for hosting the collection. 💙

It's been one year since we got married in our bookstore! We'd throw a wedding every year if they'd let us 💕
