SBC's Community Bike Shop at the Fairbanks We are a Community Bike Shop for the 417. (Mon-Thurs. 10-2.) Thanks for contacting SBC's Community Bike Shop at the Fairbanks. 2025 hours: Mon-Thurs. 10am-2pm.

At our core, we're dedicated to recycling all things bicycle-related, while actively contributing to the betterment of our local community. Bike donations can be made at the shop during those hours too. We also willingly accept/need cycling gear, helmets, clothing and parts. Cheers, 417Land! Part-Time Community Bike Shop Team Member:
The Drew Lewis Foundation is seeking a part-time team member for the SBC Community Bike Shop at The Fairbanks. Hours are Tuesday–Friday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. This role includes tooling and repairing donated bikes, organizing the shop, and serving our biking community in a unique, welcoming, and caring way. Ready to build confidence on two wheels? 🚲

Whether you're looking to commute, ride for fun, or just want to learn a new skill, join us for our very first Ladies Night Workshop at The Fairbanks!

This is a FREE, hands-on Level One Workshop designed specifically for beginners with little to no experience.

We’ll walk through the fundamentals of bicycle maintenance in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Here are the details for our upcoming session:
📅 Tuesday, June 2nd
🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 SBC Community Bike Shop at The Fairbanks
⚠️ No need to bring your own bike for this level!

What we’ll cover:
🔧 Cleaning, oiling, and changing a chain
🛞 Changing tubes and tires
✅ Pre-ride safety checks & proper rider fitting
🗺️ Local biking routes, safety, and etiquette

👥 Space is strictly limited to 12 participants to ensure everyone gets hands-on practice, so don't wait!
