We have some fantastic new Jim Shore Disney pieces in the shop, including favorites from The Haunted Mansion and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

From the Haunted Mansion groundskeeper and Madame Leota to Lock, Shock & Barrel and Jack with Oogie Boogie, these kind of pieces make Halloween decorating a lot more fun.

Tomorrow is Festival of the Little Hills, and we're almost ready!

One of the most unusual handcrafted collections you'll find outside First Capitol Trading this weekend comes from Colorado artist Tim Bergren of Rocky Mountain Rustic.

Tim creates his distinctive ducks from reclaimed century-old fence posts collected from ranches throughout the Rocky Mountain West. The weathered wood, knots and grain become part of each bird, so every finished carving is completely unique.

They are rustic, wonderfully made and full of character.

Another Festival of the Little Hills favorite is coming outside with us this weekend!

These gorgeous handblown glass pumpkins, leaves, and acorns are created by Vessel Studio Glass, a husband-and-wife glass studio in the Pittsburgh area.

Every pumpkin is individually made, which means the colors, patterns, shapes and little details are different from piece to piece. From rich autumn oranges to blues, greens and shimmering neutrals, they're beautiful grouped together or all on their own.

We'll have a colorful selection waiting for you outside First Capitol Trading during the festival!

Festival of the Little Hills week is here!

As we get ready for a busy weekend on Historic Main Street, we're bringing some of our favorite handcrafted pieces outside to share with you.

First up are the wonderful glass snowmen from Vitrix Hot Glass Studio in Corning, New York. Each one is handmade from solid glass and given its own personality with colorful glass details applied by hand.

Some of these characters have a LOT of personality!

Look for them outside First Capitol Trading during Festival of the Little Hills this weekend!
