Tim's Bike Shop of St. Clair Shores

09/29/2026

GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE UPDATE: Sunday my nephew and I rode from my shop to Dodge Park for a distance of 26.7 miles and Monday I rode around St. Clair Shores adding another 14 miles. I pledged to ride 125 miles which I did. But I was a long ways from last years 620 miles. Took it easy this year. My 2026 GREAT CYCLE JOURNEY has ended but I am still $22.00 short of getting my jersey. If you would like to donate to my ride, you can do so at greatcyclechallenge.com/riders/Timothyfocht. Donations support children’s cancer research. Thank you for your support.

Tim’s Bike Shop will be closed Monday to Thursday, weather permitting, so we can give the outside of the building a fresh coat of paint before it gets too cold outside. Thank you for your patience.

GREAT CYCLE CHALLENGE UPDATE: Not doing very well this year. Only have three rides in. Got a late start. My firs ride was 10.22 miles, second ride was 28.26 miles, and my third ride was 20 miles totaling only 58 miles. Work has limited my riding time this year. I’m not done yet and will ride every chance I get. If you would like to sponsor my ride you can do so at greatcyclechallenge.com/riders/Timothyfocht.

During the month of September I pledged to ride my bike supporting children cancer research. My goal is 300 miles. If you would like to sponsor my ride you can do so at www.greatcyclechallenge.com/riders/Timothyfocht. We also have a donation jar at Tim’s Bike Shop. Thank you for your support
