Michi-GUN History

In 1975 our company was founded by Robert and Shirley Barch. After skipping school at age ten to work at a Detroit area gun shop and continually working at sporting goods stores and gun clubs for twenty years, minus the time he spent in the army, Bob figured it was time to open a sporting goods store of his own. However, eventually he got out of tackle and archery and stuck to his true love, fi****ms. With fifty years of experience himself Bob has shared friendships with such industry greats as Bill R***r, Roy Weatherby, Bob Mileck and many others. Richard, Bob and Shirley's son, is also an instrumental part of the business. With an absolute passion for hunting and fi****ms, Richard is not only a skilled hunter and shooter, but is also a respected figure in our industry. With their extensive, world-wide hunting experience, Robert, Richard, and their skilled staff offer you a wealth of knowledge about the shooting and hunting world. They really don't build .22s like this anymore. 🎯

Pocket history right here: the C**t Model 1908 Vest Pocket in .25 ACP. 🔥

Designed by none other than John Moses Browning, this little hammerless pistol was engineered to slide discreetly into a gentleman's vest pocket. Over 400,000 of these were manufactured between 1908 and the late 1940s, and the craftsmanship on the early blued versions and case-hardened parts is something you just don't see in modern polymer mouse guns.

It holds 6+1 rounds of .25 Auto, features both a grip safety and a manual thumb safety, and feels surprisingly solid in the hand for something barely over 4 inches long. While modern 9mm and .380 micro-compacts have taken over for practical everyday carry, you have to appreciate the sheer mechanical elegance and historical charm of this little classic.
