A huge thank you to Kerstin Furneisen whose textile art was center stage in our window alongside ReFash_Studios designs. There is so much talent in our city!

Kerstin is a textile artist based in St Louis. She has her MFA in graphic design from the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland where she studied humor and typography. The two pieces being shown at Assassin Vintage are a part of her “BIG” series exploring oversized objects made from her favorite materials: felt, flannel and embroidered typography.

Join me as I dare to wash my first 1940s tie. It always made me super nervous that I would ruin it! Thanks to Ryan who came over to the shop and gave me a personal tutorial and made me a necktie reshaper.

The bandana has become a core accessory in our styling choices, which is why we decided to carry bandanas in the shop. We were drawn to the designs of - designed locally in Missouri.

Every design comes straight from Beth Snyder’s sketchbook and begins with ink or paint on paper. Then, every bandana is screen printed or digitally printed onto luxurious premium cotton.
