The 2027 Design Trends Angle

The “European Aesthetic” is coming to US weddings. If you’ve been scrolling through Pinterest lately, you’ve likely noticed a shift in wedding design. Couples are moving away from standard, ultra-polished minimalism and leaning heavily into old-world European romance, effortless garden whimsy, and rich, historic textures.

I snapped this picture last year outside the iconic Demel pastry shop in Vienna, Austria, and it perfectly captures the direction of upcoming event design. Look at the delicate, hand-painted botanical illustrations cascading down those tiers. It feels less like a standard wedding cake and more like an immersive piece of art. To bring this look to your local venue, we are focusing on: Abundant, Overflowing Florals: Moving away from tight bundles and embracing wild, “spilling-over” garden arrangements that mimic European courtyards.

Fruit & Botanical Tablescapes: Incorporating organic elements like citrus, figs, and trailing vines directly into table decor.
