VCDL wants to congratulate Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger (who we affectionately call Grabigail Banberger) on being voted the NUMBER ONE gun salesperson of the year by Virginia gun owners! 1,854 votes were taken in the VCDL poll and Governor Spanberger won by an absolute landslide!

June’s gun sales were up 241%! There were 123,699 NICS background checks run in June alone!

I saw posts from an attorney saying that the injunction prevents the Virginia State Police from denying a firearm purchase based on the law banning ARs. Background check do not contain that information. It only lists the type of firearm - pistol, rifle, revolver. There is no make/model information.
The injunction is meaningless. Possibly worse than meaningless. The language grandfathering prior purchases says before July 1st.

The burden is on the FFL to only submit applications for fi****ms which are legal to purchase. The State Police have no way to know what you're buying.
