A Personal Update About Rush Point

I have officially listed the Rush Point Store for Sale. We will continue to operate as normal until it sells!

I want to share something important with all of you. Ryan (my husband) recently accepted a new position within his company, and it means our family will be relocating. It’s a big change — one that brings excitement, nerves, and a lot of reflection about what the next chapter looks like for us.

Because of this move, I won’t be able to continue running Rush Point Store. This little shop has been part of my everyday life for years. It’s where I’ve poured my energy, my creativity, and a whole lot of heart. I’m proud of what it’s become and grateful for the people who’ve supported it along the way.

I know rumors tend to fly when change happens, so I want to be clear: this decision isn’t about the store struggling. Rush Point is steady, strong, and full of potential. This is simply about our family moving, and me wanting the store to have someone local who can be present and continue building on what’s already here.

I truly believe this is an opportunity for the next owner — someone who loves this community and wants to grow something special. Rush Point deserves that, and I’m hopeful and excited to see what the future brings for it.

Guess who has fishing & hunting licenses with the new DNR system?
Rush Point does!!!

The MN DNR rolled out a new system this year, which meant if we wanted to continue to sell licenses, we had to invest in our own equipment and cover the printing costs.

We don't make much on each license, but that wasn't the point for us.

We knew a lot of folks around here still need an in-person opinion. Not everyone has a smartphone. Not everyone wants to wrestle with online forms. And our community deserves better than "figure it out."

So we stepped up and got the new setup in place to continue this service at Rush Point.

We're the only place in the area offering in-store licenses right now.
If you need one, come see us, and we'll get you taken care of!

Friendly reminder that Rush Point Store will be closed on Easter Sunday so we can all enjoy a little family time (and maybe a chocolate bunny or two). 🐰
