We celebrated our 40th Annual Charity Golf Outing at The Dream in West Branch, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! ☀️

A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible staff volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and everyone who came out to support this special event. Your time, generosity, and continued support are what make this event such a success year after year.

Our team had a great time volunteering at the Arenac Christmas for kids Golf Outing. We were proud to serve as the Shotgun Start Sponsor and support an event that helps make Christmas brighter for local children and families.

The Next Chapter Begins.

At Forward Corporation, we're committed to investing in the communities we serve and creating exceptional experiences for our guests.

Today, we're excited to announce the next phase of our investment in the Lumber Jack property in West Branch.

Building on last year's renovations to the Lumber Jack Lodge, this next chapter includes improvements to both the Lumber Jack Restaurant and the convenience store, enhancing the property while preserving the traditions and hospitality that have made it a Northern Michigan destination for generations.

Throughout this transition:
✔️ The Lumber Jack Lodge will remain open.
✔️ The restaurant will continue serving guests as it transitions to a refreshed dining experience.
✔️ Construction on the convenience store will begin as part of our long-term vision for the property.

This investment represents more than improvements to a building, it's an investment in West Branch, our guests, and the future of the Lumber Jack property.

Did you know?

In 2024, Forward Corporation partnered with the Bay Area Community Foundation to create "The Forward Fund" - a donor advised endowment fund focusing on programs, grants, and causes that improve the lives and well-being of children and families across our region.

For the past two years, and going into this year, our annual Forward Golf Outing has raised nearly $70,000 in proceeds that we have used to directly impact the Arenac and Bay County community.

Today marked our final "Fri-Dave"… and we went out the only way that felt right—flip flops and sandals all around, Dave's...."favorite".

If you heard a chorus of squeaks echoing through Standish… that was us, celebrating Dave the best way we know how (and maybe testing his patience one last time 😜).

Dave, your leadership has left a lasting footprint on this company—flip flops not required. Wishing you all the best in retirement… even if it’s a little quieter. 👣

In honor of one of Dave’s favorite (😉) pet peeves… we all showed up and parked a little… creatively today. Let’s just say the parking lot is looking REAL full of personality.

Consider it our way of sending him off in true Forward fashion, with a few laughs, a little chaos, and a whole lot of appreciation for everything he’s done over the years.

We’re going to miss you, Dave… even if our parking skills don’t improve anytime soon. 👋😂
