Got it done with Capt. Bryan Rosa yesterday. Need a guide for Stripers in Maine, he can’t be beat. And you’ll end up with photos like this one. What other guide offers A-tier fishing and A-tier photography? Got to put a deep bend into our new 9wt, which repeatedly exceeds my expectations. Even seasoned guides have said it’s a great rod for only $350. I’ll post a realistic striper report later this week, so stay tuned for that!

A quick tip for those looking to target our natives. They’re starting to look up. Unless you actively see dries on top, I would recommend using a size 14-16 soft hackle fly such as a holy grail or turkey tom. Tight lines!
