A Special Message, Please read.
Dear Old Soul Antiques Supporters, It saddens me to inform you that our last day in business will be
Saturday December 28th.
Thank you to every single one of you who has supported our unique small town antique store the past 4.5 years. It wouldn’t of been possible without you.
When I started this journey in 2020 it was the peak of Covid, the building was a blank canvas, and with a little less then 2,500$ in savings and a vision in my head, I decided to go for it, to take the risk of failure. Somehow in a month of working many many late nights, building walls, advertising, and just trying to figure out what exactly it is we were even doing, we managed to attract enough vendors for the opening month to pay the bills. I am so grateful for those first month vendors, most signed up by just hearing my vision and goals of what I thought it could be before ever seeing walls built for booths.
Over the years we have been able to turn it into a place people loved to come visit, a place where kids could look up and see planes hanging from the ceiling, a place where you might find a unique tool, a old toy you once played with as a kid, a place to pick up farm raised meat, or just a place to come visit and chat. But most importantly a place most people will always remember if they stepped foot inside.
The future of the store is not gone however, it will continue to be a antique store with the same layout, though some things will look differently, you will still have a wonderful place to stop in and shop or visit. You will still see the familiar face of Charlene who has ran the store since the very beginning. I will update at another date with the FB page of the future store.
Once again thank you to every single customer, vendor, and helper over the past 4.5 years. I hope I succeeded in creating a place you will always remember.
Josh Bobo.
