This week was one for the books for our families small business & I’m still smiling from ear-to-ear. 😌Ending it at Snohomish in Bloom yesterday being freely creative designing a Flower Umbrella on the fly & then teaching an Everlasting Floral Crown class in the afternoon was the icing on the cake. 🤌🏼 If you ever want to experience pure joy, just walk around town with a flower umbrella. 10/10 Experience! The smiles, the people stopping to take photos and reactions were bliss ☂️ Just ask my friend Sheila who I ran into on my escapades and invited her to join me for a walk beneath the umbrella. By the time we got back to the Carnegie Building our cheeks hurt from being so dang happy 🙃 I’ve never worked an event where I have already worked with SO many other people participating to make it happen. Every time I turned around I was bumping into another sincerely loved flower friend, or fellow member of SnoCo. Flower Collective 🌻 Unreal 😌 I’ll be riding high from this one for a while. What a great way to wind down the season. Bravo team Snohomish In Bloom you guys rock! 🤘🏼

Join us this Friday for the last 4th Friday of the year, the Flower Walk, featuring fresh flowers that are grown locally by Floral Current Farmers.

Everyone will be welcome to walk but the pre-purchased bouquets will be limited to the first 25 participants.

Come enjoy a friday walk through downtown Arlington.

Start at the Innovation Center, 404 N. Olympic Avenue, Arlington, WA. 4 PM to 7 PM.

🌾I’ll have lots of Fresh Everlasting bunches - flowers that you can enjoy in a vase for a few days + then dry on your own for sustainable home decor. I’m a real sucker for a crunchy bunch of flowers so come see what’s growin’ at the farm & support local.

Come hang with me at the park August 6th to kick off Farm Tours weekend!

Our local flower farm collective will start off Arlington Farm Tours week with a floral art piece that you can be a part of its creation. On Thursday, August 6th you will be able to help create a floral tapestry or a attend a free class on creating a floweral crown. Legion Park 12 PM to 2 PM.

This is just the first activity of the celebration of farms in our community. This celebration will take place August 6-10 and August 15 and 16th.

If you miss being a part of the creation, you will get a chance to add to it on Saturday at the Farmers Market on August 8th.

I don’t always frolic around the farm in a flower crown. But when I do, the Lily of the Valley is blooming, the fern fronds are unfurling and I’ve decided to no longer fight with the dandelions. It’s almost May. Happy Spring!

I’ll be bringing 20+ different varieties of Heirloom Chrysanthemums you can preview on our website. Pictured here are Purple Light, Cheerleader and Pumpkin. 🎃 These bloom into the fall and are a fabulous season extender to add color to the autumn garden.
