A little update from behind the scenes at Magnolia Gifts.

If I’ve been a little slower than usual responding to messages this week, I appreciate your patience. I’ve been down and out fighting off a pretty miserable summer cold, complete with a stubborn fever and a horrendous cough that has definitely gotten the better of me for a few days.

I’m taking a little time to rest, recover, and get back on my feet, but I am still keeping an eye on messages and orders. Responses may just take me a little longer than usual.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I’m hoping to be back in the workshop and feeling like myself again very soon.

This custom tumbler was created with the cutest little watercolor pea pod design, and I love how simple and playful it turned out. Sometimes the smallest designs carry the sweetest meaning.

Some of my favorite projects are the ones that celebrate a person’s story.

This custom UV printed acrylic block was created to celebrate a very special 68th birthday. Every element of the design was chosen to reflect the things that make her who she is, from her love of cats to her career as a realtor and the little details that have shaped her life.

I love creating personalized gifts like this because they go beyond the ordinary. Instead of simply giving a gift, you’re giving someone a reminder that they’ve been seen, celebrated, and thoughtfully remembered.

Watching this custom artwork come to life on clear acrylic was such a rewarding experience, and I hope it brings a smile to her face every time she sees it.

Here’s another behind the scenes look at this custom nursery sign coming to life.

The beautiful florals were UV printed directly onto a white painted wood base using my UV printer. Because of the larger 16 x 23 inch panel, I cut the main piece on my Boss LS3655 laser. The larger backing measures 18 x 25 inches, and all of the smaller detail pieces were cut on my xTool P2S.

This project has been such a fun combination of UV printing, laser cutting, and careful assembly. I can’t wait to show you the finished sign once everything is complete. What do you think it’s going to look like?

Stopped cleaning up my workshop for a minute and couldn’t resist firing up my hot foil stamper.

I stamped my name and a little heart on a pencil just for fun, and now I kind of want to foil the whole thing in rose gold.

This machine has been sitting in my office collecting dust, and I forgot how satisfying it is to watch it stamp.

Does anyone else have one of these hot foil stampers? Do you actually use it regularly? Now to decide does this make it into the keep section and regular inventory or do I find a new home for it?

I’d love to see what you’re making with yours and maybe get inspired to put mine back to work!

Voilà! This is what Big Betty was busy printing in last night’s time lapse video.

I absolutely love how this sweet nursery banner turned out. It’s such a meaningful gift for a family who recently adopted their precious little girl, and I hope it becomes something they treasure for years to come.
