This weekend was a doozy.

We want to share a huge thank you to those who were at the shop on Friday and helped diffuse the situation, the police who came to arrest the gentleman who broke our window (and talked us through the upcoming steps), and to everyone who has checked in with us.

We are so thankful this situation has been dealt with so quickly.
We are heartbroken we had to miss a day for one of our busier weekends (Carolina Balloonfest) due to delays getting our window secured and allll the glass cleaned up BUT we are back open and so so thrilled to be here. ❤️

Is there a better door somewhere? 😅

(Yes our window was shattered, no it wasn't malicious towards us, yes we are stressed out🤣)

It looks like opening today for our ghost hunt is not in the cards. 😩👻
Can someone tell me where in the "Congrats on opening a small business" manual it covers how to deal with shattered windows because we are winging it and this has been a bit crazy.

Fingers crossed we should be good to open on Tuesday and maybe we'll make the ghost hunt a weeklong affair! 👀

Hey now, don't have too crazy of a Friday night you guys. 🫠

Getting a call at 9pm and having to change OUT of my pj's to come deal with a broken shop window was notttt on my agenda for the day but here we are.

Anyhoo, we will be reevaluating tomorrow to see if we are able to be open on Sunday. There is a TON of glass everywhere and safety is our priority at this point.

I do want to mention that this was NOT a malicious crime against us, nothing was stolen and to our knowledge no one was injured.

Don't drink and smash windows kids. ✌🏻
