If you have been gardening the same beds year after year, chances are you are missing some essential nutrients. There is a big alphabet soup happening in your soil and you can get to the bottom of it!

We have some handy dandy soil test kits available for $20! You get 10 tests each for Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and pH. Get your kids involved, because you get to make dirt soup! Let it sit and then you measure the liquid to see what your levels are.

If you are planting vegetables, it's a good idea to see what your levels are and RIGHT NOW is the time to address it. You can do some easy soil amending and give your beds some time to absorb these nutrients and ready for summer planting.

Spring Spooky Season is upon us! Pennycress and Hoary Cress are emerging and already blooming

We have Rainmaker pump sprayers in 2 and 3 gallon size and 4 gallon backpack sprayers in stock. These are durable and will last for years and years! Share with your neighbors and team up to get rid of these w**ds.

💦 2 gallon $30

These are both prevalent in our area and considered noxious w**ds. A single plant can produce between 1200-4800 seeds. They develop significant lateral roots within weeks and can easily overrun your hillside or yard.

They do best in disturbed soil, so if you live near a construction site or open space, your yard is a prime target.

Yes, you can work for years to pull it up, but with extensive root systems on these perennial plants, it is an ongoing battle. The best method is spraying with 2,4-D w**dkiller. It targets broadleaf plants (dicots=multiple leaves vs single "leaf" monocots like grass).

✅ Why 2,4-D works - it moves through the leaves of the plant and into the root system effecting the whole network

☢️ Caution while using! Use a pump sprayer that reaches ONLY the w**ds you are trying to kill. Apply when it's not windy to control the application. Careful around your desired flowering plants and trees.

💪 Works best when the plants are just beginning to flower or before. Spray when you will have plentiful sunshine and rain won't wash it off!

☀️ We have warmer temps and sunshine until Friday, so this is a great time to get after it.
