After a challenging winter, we’ve officially closed trails for the season at both
Haymaker Nordic Center
and
Steamboat Ski Touring Center.

However, Steamboat Ski Touring Center will remain open daily from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM for:
End-of-season sales
Equipment Service
Seasonal Rental Returns
$10/pair Storage Wax & FREE Scrape in the fall!

This winter hasn’t exactly been the snowy dream we all hoped for. With low snow and warm sun, it’s been a tough season for small businesses like ours.

2/8/2026 Updates
Hello From Steamboat Ski Touring Center!
We wanted to share some updates with you.
Today Sunday February 8th we will have Girl Scouts here selling cookies from 9:30-1. We welcome you to come and support these young entrepreneurs.
We are will open with limited terrain, what is open is skiing very well but please expect spring like conditions... yes, we know its spring in February.

We want to clear up some confusion:
We are dealing with very limited snow as we all know. Every time we groom we loose snow. The warm temps over the last week has really melted our snow. We have had to hold off on grooming in order to save our snow. This is a very hard decision for all of us but in order to try and stay open as long as we can we have to hold off on grooming. We understand that this is frustrating, please know we are just as frustrated as you. As soon as we get measurable snow our grooming team is ready!

Due to the warm temps we are had to change our hours:
Shop is open 9 am - 4pm Daily
Trails are open 9 am - 3:45pm Daily
We kindly ask that you do not ski after 3:45pm in order to help us preserve our limited snow.
