First off, before “story time”/appreciation post ….There wasn’t anything particularly special about this ring pictured or some grand design challenge. In fact, it was just another ring headed out the door.
But for some reason, as we were getting it ready to ship, it stopped us in our tracks and had us reflecting a little deeper, so we thought we’d share our hearts.
Typically, Tyrel is focused on the details…making sure every measurement is right, every engraving is perfect, every stone is set properly, and every piece arrives on time (God willing 😅). We stress over timelines, specifications, shipping delays, and all the little things that come with creating custom pieces. (Can I get an amen from the other makers out there? Lol.)
Anyways, somewhere in the middle of all that, it’s easy to forget what these rings actually represent… and that’s where the deeper shift happened for us.
Just as a heads up, if we suspect a piece is an engagement ring or wedding band, it gets prayed over before it ships. We pray for the couple who will wear it, for a strong marriage, and for a lifetime of love, faith, and commitment ahead.
But the gratitude really hit us when we realized that these rings Tyrel stays up all night building, misses family meals for, and pours so much of himself into, will go on to be prayed over again during proposals, wedding ceremonies, and countless moments throughout a marriage.
They become symbols of a “yes,” a promise, and an “I do.” They mark the beginning of a new chapter and often become heirlooms that tell a family’s story for generations.
The realization we had today…after 25+ years of Tyrel specializing in wedding rings (aside from rodeo buckles)… is what an incredible honor it is to be trusted with creating something that represents so much more than metal, stones, and pretty engraving.
To every customer who has allowed us to be a small part of such a meaningful moment in your life, THANK YOU 🙏 We don’t take that responsibility lightly, and we’re grateful beyond words for the trust you place in us.
