Ultimately accepting a scholarship to the University of Maryland.
Fast forward 38 years to 2024, and the Scott legacy shines brighter than ever. Jordan Scott, bearing more than just the family name, led the South Lakes boys to clinch the VA Division 6 State title, mirroring his mother’s leadership, talent, and accolades. Like mother, like son - both team leaders, both the best players on their respective teams, and both a testament to the enduring spirit of excellence that defines South Lakes High.
